Newton Medical Center accepting applications for teen volunteers

4-21-10 Newton Medical Center is now accepting applications for the “Summer VolunTeen Program,” scheduled Jun. 1 through Jul. 31.
VolunTeens are teenagers, 14 through 18 years of age, who volunteer their time and services to Newton Medical Center. VolunTeens are a vital part of the health care team, lending a helping hand in many areas of the medical center.

Registration forms are available at high school offices or from the NMC front information desk. Participation in the summer program is limited to 15 participants. The completed registration is due no later than May 28. An orientation for participants is scheduled for the evening of Jun. 1 at the north end of the NMC cafeteria.
